”I write down my thoughts and feelings on paper and collect them in my drawer to take out and paint them a little later. For me painting is about entering into the movement and holding on to the feeling. I play out the moment where the brush moves across the canvas at the same time I play music. The same piece of music over and over to keep my focus and my feeling. If I get interrupted, I re-enter the movement. That’s what I do tirelessly.”
”It’s like a spontaneous and intense energy that comes to me in the moment. My art is about emotions and impulses. I express my feelings with my brush strokes. I paint because I need to, it makes me feel alive.”
